Common questions.
How do I check in and out?
On the Hunt tab, tap your stand, then Check in and set when you expect to be out. Tap Check out when you leave the stand. While you’re checked in, your camp can see you on the stand board.
What if I forget to check out?
You get a text at your out time. At 15 minutes your camp is texted (if you shared the hunt with it), at 30 minutes your emergency contacts who replied YES, and at 1 hour they’re all told to call 911 or the sheriff. The app never dials 911 itself. Check out and everyone gets an all-clear. How it works →
How do I join a camp with a code?
Create your account in the app first. Then tap the invite link your camp sent you, or open the Camp tab → Join a Camp and enter the code. Only use a code sent to you by someone whose camp you’re joining.
My invite link or code doesn’t work.
Check that the whole link was copied. Guest passcodes and invites work once and expire, so ask your camp for a new one if yours has. Still stuck? Email support@predictiveoutdoors.com.
How do I join the beta?
Request an invite. When your invite arrives, the tester guide walks you through installing with TestFlight (iPhone) or Google Play testing (Android). The beta is free.
How do I report a bug or idea?
Use the beta feedback form. Try: “I tapped ___ and expected ___ but got ___.” A screenshot helps a lot.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Me tab → scroll to the bottom → Delete Account → type DELETE → Permanently Delete. Can’t get into the app? Use the account deletion page. What gets deleted is in the Privacy Policy.
